Warranty Duration

All Travipak products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Coverage

Covered Under Warranty:

  • Manufacturing Defects:
    • Broken or malfunctioning zippers due to poor manufacturing.
    • Torn or frayed fabric due to weak materials or faulty stitching.
    • Detachment or failure of straps, handles, or buckles because of poor construction.
    • Seams that come apart due to improper stitching or weak thread.
    • Defective clips, buckles, or hardware components that do not function properly.
    • Waterproof materials or coatings that fail to repel water as advertised.
    • Significant color fading within a short period due to poor dye quality.
    • Structural components like frames that break or deform without excessive force.

Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Normal Wear and Tear:
    • General wear and tear from regular use, such as minor fabric abrasions or fading.
    • Gradual deterioration of zippers, straps, or buckles from extended use.
  • Accidental Damage:
    • Tears, rips, or holes caused by sharp objects or excessive force.
    • Damage from misuse, such as overloading the backpack beyond its capacity.
  • Neglect or Improper Care:
    • Damage resulting from exposure to harsh chemicals or extreme environments.
    • Mold, mildew, or other issues arising from improper storage or care.
  • Alterations or Unauthorized Repairs:
    • Damage resulting from alterations or repairs not performed by the manufacturer or authorized service centers.
  • Cosmetic Damages:
    • Minor scratches, stains, or cosmetic issues that do not affect the functionality of the backpack.

Proof of Purchase

To claim the warranty, customers must provide an invoice and register the product on Travipak’s official website, travipak.com.

Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, fill out the online form or email us at [email protected] with a description of the issue and accompanying photos.

Resolution Options

We offer repair services for valid warranty claims. In certain conditions, replacements may be provided.

Limitations
  • The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.
  • Coverage is limited to claims within India.

Extended Warranty

Customers can avail an extra 1-year extended warranty by completing product registration on our website www.travipak.com within 3 months of purchase.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are required to:

  • Follow care instructions provided with the product.
  • Register the product on travipak.com.

Care Instructions:

  • Regular Cleaning:
    • Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary.
    • Interior: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.
  • Spot Cleaning:
    • Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild detergent for stains or spills. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
  • Hand Washing:
    • Hand wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and air dry.
    • Avoid machine washing or drying.
  • Drying:
    • Air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Waterproofing:
    • Apply fabric protector spray for polyester materials as needed.
  • Zipper Maintenance:
    • Lubricate zippers occasionally with zipper wax or a bar of soap.
  • Storage:
    • Store in a cool, dry place. Maintain shape by filling compartments with paper or cloth.
  • Avoid Overloading:
    • Do not exceed recommended capacity.
  • Handle with Care:
    • Use padded handles and shoulder straps. Avoid dragging or using hanging loops for heavy loads.

  • Travipak handles warranty claims for third-party manufactured products.
  • Warranty claims are processed within 10 days once the product is received.

  • No international warranty claims.
  • No warranty for modified or altered products.
  • No warranty for products exposed to extreme conditions.
  • No warranty for products used commercially.
  • No warranty for products received as part of promotions or giveaways.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping charges to send products for warranty claims. Travipak will cover shipping costs for returning repaired or replacement products if the claim is genuine and meets warranty criteria.
  • If the product is no longer available, we may offer a similar product of equal value.
